But today I'm not going to rant about the importance of photography, I am just going to tell you about my holiday! accompanied by some phone snapshots :) Enjoy!

So the first two nights I was absolutely shattered from the incredibly busy week before! So we spent some time at home in our PJ's, literally didn't move and watched plenty of movies and Scrubs! It was such a relief after rushing around all of the week before.

When we finally decided it was time to leave the house, we didn't go too far! We decided to spend the day in Gloucester, visiting the Docks and the famous Fair! The fair was quite a special experience as the last time we were here, we had just started dating! We then had a dinner and movie date to celebrate :) hehe

So then to celebrate our 4 lovely years together, we went to visit our special spot on the hill which is where we regularly go on special occasions and where he proposed just over a year ago! We love it here because of the AMAZING VIEW! We also left a little R2-D2 McDonalds toy up here about two years ago and every time we come up, we have to check ig he's still there! And he always is ;) We then also went for a night of lazy luxury at the Hatherly Manor Hotel.

So after our luxurious time at the hotel, we went to a different kind if adventure! For the first time in our life together we went CAMPING! And what an adventure that was.. We had been so spoilt at the hotel that we seemed to have forgot the necessary things to pack when we left for a night camping at the beach! I simply went home, flung a few dresses and bikini in the suitcase from the hotel, packed up our food, picked up the tent and mattress and off we went. About a quarter of the way there I realised I hadn't packed towels, bedding, warm clothes, matches or anything to entertain us! What was I thinking?! So Sam, who was very eager to be on his way said we would totally just rough it! So we did, and it was awful! We did have to go buy a towel, a lighter and a pack of cards, but didn't quite have the will to buy sleeping bags.. So that night we froze.. I can't believe how cold the night was after that scorching hot day! So anyway, we've learnt our lesson for next time, and have a rather funny story to tell!

The next day was super fun! It started with bacon and eggs for breakfast! Then spent the day at the beach and the adventure park! Sam taught me how to shoot stuff, we played vintage pin ball games and silly arcade games but the best by far was mini golf! And yes, I did kick Sam's butt.. ;)
So that was my super fun holiday! Now I am back to work and busy busy busy :)
