Yesterday was the event of the year, The Women's Business Club Awards! And I had the honour of sharing my first year in business with this amazing group of women :) I will say I was totally terrified! I was not able to focus on anything the week leading up to it and this morning I woke up with a great sense of relief that it was over! But I am so grateful for the huge amount of support I have received not only yesterday, but throughout my first year!
So my talk was basically an overview of my year, what I've learnt and what mistakes I've made.. I based my talk on my blog posts from this year! So if this is your first time reading the blog.. here is a video overview! :)
Then came the awards! I didn't realise how excited I I would get about this!! It really was very exciting and so fun to see what was so recognisable about each women that is part of the Women's Business Club and what award they would receive! Would you like to know what award I won? Here it it...
And so, how could I resist writing a blog post? :P
I am actually really grateful for this award! Although it was in the 'silly' section its nice to know that my blog is acknowledged ;) And I hope to get a good response to this and lots more readers! :D
The feedback from the talk was really encouraging, it is so nice to hear that little old me can make someone else think about their business and even help them through some things that they are also going through in business! I have had an incredible journey this year, I have learn't so much and I am so excited about 2014!! Bring It ON!!

The Business Woman of the Year award went to Natalie Bell of Gloucestershire Weddings.
